Master Wax Carving
The craftsman carves the wax plate by hand with reference to the design drawings. It is the most demanding step in the jewelry-making process. The wax plate must be smooth and clean, and the structure of each part must be reasonable.
Rubber Mould
Mold making is a particularly delicate process, and UNIQ treats it as a science. The rubber used to make the mold significantly affects the finished product. We offer many types of rubber molds.
Tree Wax
Each wax ring is individually hand-welded to a wax rod, resulting in a wax tree shaped like a large tree, ready to be cast. The wax rod must not be overfilled with wax trees, and there must be enough space between the top and bottom rows.
The wax tree is placed in a stainless-steel cylinder, and the plaster slurry is slowly poured along the inner wall of the cylinder. It is then left undisturbed for 6–12 hours to allow the plaster to solidify, after which the plaster mold is baked.
Once the baked plaster mold is removed, the molten metal is prepared and simultaneously injected through the sprue.
We select suitable gemstones from UNIQ collections according to customer requirements and carry out processes such as matching colors and cutting the shapes.
Through professional manual operation, gemstones are set onto the jewelry. Sometimes micro-inlaying techniques require a high level of manual skill.
After the jewelry is shaped, the metal surface and detailed parts need to be further polished, and then some pieces undergo a second polishing process before plating to achieve an even smoother surface.
The polishing process gives the jewelry its final texture and luster.
High-quality laser welding technology makes the overall connection of jewelry more stable.
It’s a critical step in preventing jewelry and gemstones from falling off and chains from loosening.
